The great kidnap thriller movie "Trapped" with Kevin Bacon,Charlize Theron and Dakota Fanning is being shown on HD channel and it looked pretty damn nice.
So does that mean a blu ray release is on the steps of being released? |

If the movie is being shown on any TV channel in HD, that absolutely doesn't mean it will be released on Blu-Ray very soon.
From my experience, it means that you will have to wait for the movie on Blu-Ray even more. |

Trapped is a Sony catalog title, and they've really slowed down with the catalog releases on BD. So I'm guessing probably not, unless it's one of the titles they let Image have.
