which holiday movies do you all want on Blu-Ray
some of the ones i want are comin later this year
in a four pack i might add
which are Elf, Christmas Vacation, Polar Express, and A Christmas Story
i have 3 out of the four but i still might pick this up
which ones do you all want

hadn't thought of Jingle All The Way
but it is a favorite of mine
i would love that one too

i just pre ordered the essential holiday pack. all four of those are great for the holidays with the fam

count me in as another who wants Jingle all the Way. I just love to hear Arnold say "Turbo Man". It's the sole reason I watch it.

I'd also like the first 2 Santa Clauses. Animated Grinch, Carey Grinch, Polar Express (with an improved transfer), and Family Man.

i think it will be sold as a individual as well

Been waiting a while now, and it looks like this pack is availible for pre-order on Amazon but I still haven't been able to find anywhere that says the copy of Christmas Vacation is going to be a new or 'remastered' transfer. Anyone else heard anything?

I hate to sound pessimistic but knowing Warner Brothers they'll screw this one up and make it a direct port of the DVD. I am hoping this years release of A Christmas Story will at least have 5.1 Dolby Digital or better, but probably not.

^ It's already been confirmed that this years version of Chrimstas Story only has the 2.0 soundtrack. I read it on AVS.

I would get CHRISTMAS VACATION, but hte lackluster transfer is keeping me from getting it.

As for ones not out yet, there's only one title I want. IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. And if they could leave off the new colorized version of it, I'd be pleased. Even with the new colorization techniques that make it look more natural, it still looks out of place and phony. Throw in a commentary track by a film historian or critic, like Ebert or Richard Shickel, then we got something worthwhile.

Well, that sucks. Guess I'll just pull out my old standard DVD or watch on TBS for 24 hrs. Maybe they'll broadcast it in HD.

Nah, Just kidding. I probably will end up buying the collectors edition. I just wish they'd include a Pink Bunny suit.
