Did I get a good deal??

So I was at BB and they had a pioneer receiver open box on sale it was the model 520. It had it's box remote everything actually, with the lone exception being the instruction Manuel. Any who it was listed originally at 299, then I saw it for 137 and by the time I paid for it she rang up 97 and some change. So was it a good deal, I wasn't looking for anything complicated just want to be able to hook sat box, blu player and ps3 with no issues and enjoy that HD surround sound?

For under $100 that's pretty damn good. You're only getting 5.1 but that's a good start and might be all you need. Depending on your set-up. Pioneer makes excellent preamps/receivers.

I have am older Polk powered sub not sure the number off the top of my head but I am pretty sure it has a 10 in is ps-10 maybe. Yeah should work for me I just finished my basement I pre wired for 5.1, I know should have gone 7.1 but there wasn't a place for me to add the 2 side speakers. I was looking at th Polk tower speakers and I have the 30's bookshelf rear. I just need to buy the front three. Thanks for everyones input I thought I snagged a good deal, open for suggestions for the rest of the pieces I need to buy.
