I thought it was fun. A few parts I found mediocre, but there were a few select scenes that made it totally worth it for me. The elemantal, drunk Hellboy & Abe singing, and the Hellboy & Johan vs the Golden Army.

I agree, the movie was a very fun movie. Lots of humor, lots of action, cool effects, and some decent story telling. I'll be picking it up on Blu-ray when it comes out.

I don't remember an angel in the movie.

I did not care for this movie much although it did have it's moments. I felt like there where huge gaping holes in the story.

The "love" story seemed trite and artificial.

The love story was an invention of the studio--I guess Del Toro had to sacrifice that to get Hellboy made. Maybe they wanted a pretty face in the movie and thought a love story was the best way to that. Jeez, these studios must think us dumb.

I enjoyed the movie, but there wasn't really anything overly spectacular about it in IMO. The fight scene at the end was pretty cool though, and same with that giant plant dude thing.

The creature that took the blade out of hellboy. I thought that was an angel of some sort.

I thought it was great. It was a fairly small budget and Del Toro managed to make it look like a much bigger budget. It'll look great on Blu.

I still enjoy watching my DVD of Hellboy and the extras on the 2 other discs. I haven't seen this yet in the theater, will probably just buy it when it comes out. The sequel looks cooler than the original.

I really hope they also continue the excellent animation movies, it's been a while and no news?

The Jimmy Kimmel appearance completely ruined this entire movie for me.

I honestly like Hellboy 1. Never saw 2. After seeing one so many damn times, I'm probably going to buy 2. I don't know why I like Hellboy 1 so much that it causes me to rewatch that movie over and over. I think I'll be doing that with two as well.
