Hey guys.
I recently got a new PS3 after my old (2007, warranty long gone) one died almost a year ago. I also gotten the move bundle with the sharpshooter, although I didn't have any move games with me. Out of interest, I decided to try out the PS3 version of one of my favorite games of 2012: Counter Strike Global Offensiv;, which had move and sharpshooter support. ![]() My problem was that my old PSN uses a dead email that I neglected to change a little later after my PS3 died, there really wasn't much other than trophies. I also rented the PS3 version of Portal 2, which linked my PSN to my Steam account. I really did liked that I could link my PSN account to my steam account on CS:GO. Except that I can't link my new PSN to my steam account because it is linked to my old account, which I wished that I updated my email address. However, I am wondering if there is any way to delink my old PSN account from my steam account. Since I just rented Portal 2, and haven't used a code that would have came with the game. I can live with making a new steam account for my new PSN, but I would rather not go through the hassle. |

To unlink a PSN account from a Steam account, you're going to have to contact Valve.

I got it unlinked right now, took me a couple of weeks, and had to switch the game to Portal 2, even though I haven't planned on playing, so I finally got to play CS:GO.
Just a little disapointed there is really nothing that uses steam. I can even log onto my steam account when I play the game. I find it kind of bizarre considering how it was used in Portal 2. Oh well, at least I can play future Valve games on my PSN, for god knows what reason? ![]() Thanks for helping. ![]() |
