What is your cast (top 7)
Who is your director
Who is your producer

Now the trick is, your on a medium budget, so you cant overload with talent. So maybe 2 large leads and a good director/producer or 3 large actors but only a decent director and producer

Cast:

Lead Male : Mark Wahlberg (great actor) Protagonist
Lead Female : Scarlett Johansson (Pretty good actress, eye candy)

Rest of the Cast:

Aaron Eckhart (great actor) Antagonist
Kate Bosworth (pretty good actress)
Adam Brody (up and coming actor)
Hayden Panettiere (eye candy)
Matthew Perry (provides comical relief)
Jeremy Piven

You dont want a cast full of boring actors and you need to have a good mix. You want to draw people to come see your movie, and you dont always need "A" listers.

Producer: Jerry Bruckheimer

Director: Ridley Scott

What movie has Jerry Bruckheimer ever directed? What is a medium budget? 28 Days Later was made on less than 10mil.

Coen Brothers do not direct action movies.

Ridley Scott is the action director of choice for me. Tony Scott is great.

Ridley Scott w/ Dreamworks Production. Tom Welling as the lead. Throw in Blake Lively as the female star. The villian is Steve Zahn.

Plot is Welling as an independent contracted hitman hired by an unseen (but heard) client to rescue Blake Lively from eccentric millionaire Zahn. Throw in some C4 and MP5 gunfire boat/car chase. Tag and market for an early Spring release.

I'm not too sure about the plot right now, but suffice it to say the final battle will be a 4-way face off resulting in a big martial arts battle ala that one scene in the old Batman TV series when Bruce Lee was a guest star.

It won't matter who writes or directs it because the people will go and see it.
