*** UPDATE *** Kill Bill Vol's 1 & 2 $10 Rebate

So as I originally posted I purchased the Kill Bill 2-pack from Amazon, and neither copy came with the $10 Rebate forms. I had contacted Buena Vista's Customer Service to which they had replied that the offer was "supposedly" not available for the Amazon purchases since they were discounted already

I replied back to them mentioning that not only were Amazon's copies missing the rebate forms, but so were the copies from Circuit City, Walmart, and other B&M stores..... and here's their response:


Thank you again for your interest in the Blu-ray Live Action Upgrade rebate. Yesterday, we sent you an email advising you to submit a 3x5 card along with your UPC codes and receipt for Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2. This was an error on our part - the purchase of the Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2 bundle from Amazon.com was not intended to be eligible for this rebate. However, because there was a miscommunication on our part, we will honor your submission. Going forward, no rebates will be issued for customers who purchased the Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2 bundle from Amazon.com.

A copy of the receipt will be fine.
All they really want in this case are the UPC's,
and for me to stop bombing them w/ emails

So TECHINCALLY, I could buy them at Best Buy, copy the receipt, then return them.

No You'd have to send the UPC's from the DVD's , & Blu-ray's with a copy of the receipt from the store you purchased the Blu-rays from.

I think I should make this clear.... ::ahem:: THIS IS FOR THE FOLKS WHO PURCHASED THE MOVIES LEGITLY, AND DID NOT GET THEIR REBATE FORMS INSIDE THE BLU-RAYS!

I know you have to include the UPC's with the rebate. I just think it's BS that all other copies have the rebates....

Just print out the invoice from Amazon, and use it as a receipt.
They will take it for this offer. Sorry I missunderstood before.

Yeah, but one of the lines in the email you recieved has me worried:

"Going forward, no rebates will be issued for customers who purchased the Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2 bundle from Amazon.com"

I guess I might as well try what I said. I'll call them for the rebate form.
