Default I need help chosing a surround system

Hey all i need help chosing a surround system now the problem is my room is not to small but it has a L shape to it i want something strong but something thats not crazy $$$$$ help me out people

no i dont have any reciver and im willing to spend like 1.5k if not less then that but i want a good system

I have a sony XBR 1080p tv and a ps3 80 gig and 101 blurays i think i need help picking out a cheap but kickass system

This is what I went with, under the same budget constraints. The receiver could be replaced with the Onkyo 605, 606, 705, 706, 805, 806, Yamaha V663, or a Pioneer 1018 and probably still fit your budget.

I think you could get it in under a grand if you look around for deals, and look at different options on the receiver.

If you want bookshelves, swap the Monitor 50s for Monitor 30s or 40s and you are good.

I like that receiver, but a lot of people like Onkyo, Marantz, Pioneer, or Yamaha.

It really is up to the buyer, all the receivers I mentioned will do what you need.
