Default What should I get? The Shining or A Clockwork Orange.

Well as you may or may not know tomorrow best buy & curcuitcity have blurays on sale for $14.99. I am kind of short on money right now and I would just like to know which I should pick up

Which movie do you like better? I'd say get that one or just be a good american and buy them both.

I've got The Shining, and I'm quite impressed. From the drive up to The Overlook to the snowy vistas from the hotel, it's quite a blu-ray.

But, like riff magnum said, get whichever movie you prefer.

my personal fave of the 2 is the shinning. (both really good movies though) i say go for the shinning. but like the others said, buy both or the one YOU perfer. dont want to make your decisions for you.

Personally, The Shining is my favorite Kubrick movie. So i picked it up and the PQ is definitely top notch for a movie its age. Definitely worth the money. It was a steal for me since i paid only $7 bucks

The scene where Jack is just staring off in the distance all snowblind is very, very creepy. He's almost drooling out the corner of his mouth. Kubrick could do no wrong.

I've liked Clockwork for longer and could probably watch it more often but I think the Shining is overall better.

they both have decent extras, including good commentaries.

get both. and 2001.

its sad to say it but i have never seen clockwork orange. i always meant to pick it up or something but i never did. Thats the big reason why i'm asking.

Both movies are great and both have very good PQ. I own both, but if I was foced to get one it would be The Shining.
