lbp w/ headset

Anyone know how to increase the volume on my PS3 headset (came with socom).

Whenever I'm talking to my friends in lbp they say I am very quiet as are they. I've checked all my settings and everything is at max. Is there something else I am missing?

Same problem I have unfortunately. I test my voice in accessory settings and it seems to come out fine.

I haven't messed with the settings much - but you could always turn "off" the music - I bet that would help until you figure it out.

my buddy has a similar problem (he just bought socom with the headset as well), except for him i am very quiet, even if my voice volume is turned up to 5.

Yea I did turn off the ingame sounds. Glad to know I'm not the only one with the issue

i have to ask, but did you guys up the input volume in the PS3 headset settings?

there is an option to up the input and output volume as well as correct pitch if you think your voice is not sexy enough.

how do you get this option (is it the voice changing settings, if it is I HATE when people mess with there voice. It's annoying).

It should be under the accessory settings, under headset. At the top you should turn the volume all the way up. Also on the actual headset press the volume up button and hold it for 5 seconds and it should max out, which is the problem I was having until I contacted Sony. Another thing I did in order to keep the "Fog of War" out of my family's eardrums was purchased some wireless headphones from Sony and I now have the game playing in the headset, which allows me so much more sound recognition, ie when players are going up ladders or over rooftops I can hear and idenitify the sounds and call it into my team mates, which has given me some advantage. I have also changed the output sound on the bluetooth headset to come into my Headphones which keeps the bluetooth out of my ear and my ear from aching. I just hang the bluetooth on my shirt or the wall and use it only for its mic, other than that it's all coming through my very comfortable, light weight, easy to wear for 4 or 5 hours at a time, wireless headphones.

Just one more thing you may consider changing the audio options. I usually turn down the narrators voice and the merc/commando voices and turn the headset option all the way up. I also lower a little the ambient and sound effects. Hope this helps.
