Default Quick question (might be stupid)

On this chart, would 1080i be between the 1080p and 720p lines?

The reason I ask is because I plan on buying a 32" 720p/1080i TV and I sit pretty close when I game.

1080i and 1080p should be the same, assuming deinterlacing on the set is being done correctly....

most likely the TV you are looking at has a fixed pixel resolution...probably 1365 x 768 pixels.

So even if you send a 1080i signal, the TV itself would scale it to about 720p.

But 720p looks dam good anyway.
