Default New to blu ray need help
so i just bought my first blu ray player today...i also bought an hdmi cable to hook it up to my tv...well, since i have a first generation hdtv that i bought about 6 years ago or so, it dosen't have an hdmi input...so i had to use component cables to run my blu ray player...everything works fine and the picture quality is great and way better than my dvd but my question is, am i getting true high definition using the component cables? any info is much appreciated
