Where is 2010: The Year We Make Contact for blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, I know we have plenty of salivating bananna heads over 2001: A Space Odyssey.

But where is 2010: The Year We Make Contact for blu-ray? Can we expect the same magnificent transfer as we have with the first, or will Stanley Kubrick be rolling over in his grave like a space station?

It's an MGM title, so you shouldn't expect to see it for a VERY long time.

I actually saw this on MGMHD and I was very happy with the PQ on it. I would definitely buy this on BD.

I saw it on HDNet Movies and not only did it look great, but the 5.1 soundmix was 'out of this world'

2010 would be cool to own on Blu, hope it's out before we get to the real year 2010.
