Is Lost Season 4 Delayed (UK) - Blu-ray Forum

I've had a pre-order on now for sometime with play.com for Lost Season 4 on Blu who have it advertised as a October 20th release (as does the news section on Blu-ray.com).

Anyway, I would have expected them to have shipped it yesterday (or today) to arrive in time for Monday's official launch date, but they still have it listed as pre-ordered. The status hasn't even changed to 'Order Taken' yet.

Browsing the shop the Blu-ray shows up as a pre-order but the DVD is listed as 'In Stock'. I've checked on Base.com/DVD.co.uk and 101cd.com and they all say the same. DVD is available now but the Blu is a pre-order. CDWow.com lists the Blu as an October 29th release btw.

So, does anyone know if it has been delayed on Blu or had it's release put back? Been looking forward to this for ages as I missed the whole season on the TV.

I'm finding that in the last few months, and especially with Blu-rays, that Play have been very late in sending out discs.

I think it must be a supply issue as they used to be early.

Just in the last few weeks I have had 3 films turn up after the release dates and I have The Strangers on order for Tues release and that still has no sign of shipping.

I no longer order from play.com as i had pre-ordered nightmare before christmas and salo on blu and i didnt get them. The status didnt change from pre-order at all. So ive given up with them now

My Amazon order is being processed now so it isn't delayed. I'm pretty happy as well as I got my pre-order in before they put the price up. £28.01 with my Lovefilm discount. Bargain.

My order for nightmare before Christmas from Play was sent out yesterday 17/8. Ten days late.

I just received an email confirmation from Amazon telling me my Lost Blu-Ray has shipped so it should be here Mon/Tues! Very Nice!

ive seen the ad on tv for lost series 4 boxset but there was no mention of blu ray
