Transformers $10 Off???? PROBLEMS.

So i bought transformers on dvd when it first came out, then blu-ray a few days ago. Well it said i needed the proof of purchase from the dvd, there is none... nothing. I'm really tempted to send my whole dvd, and case to them... where in the world is the proof of purchase on the thing?

On the back cover of the case (not the slipcover) there are two proof of purchase tabs above the barcode on mine.

well, my version was a steelbook that I got at FYE a while back so I'm screwed on the rebate seeing as I threw the little tacked on piece of paper that was on the back a long time ago.

Just looked at my copy as well. Same here, it's on the back under the slip cover near the top right corner.

problem. i have the two disc set. and it's not there.

I registered to this page for just this exact problem. My copy of Transformers doesn't come with a Proof of Purchase, so I feel like I'm screwed. I'm sure there's a way to contact Dreamworks, but I don't know how.

hardly feel that the loss of $10 dollars makes you fall into the catagory of screwed lighten up people....not the end of the world

So for your first post, you choose to rag on folks? No the best way to start out around here.

I'd be upset too over $10, if it was something "owed" to me. I just checked my HD-DVD copy of Transformers, and luckily I saved the outer cover sleeve (normally I throw these away). This is the only thing that has the proof of purchase on it, so I'm good for my $10 rebate.

i think im just going to send them the whole dvd with case and everything. you say i get ten bucks back for buying this i want my ten bucks back. and i think they'll get the picture once the have the full dvd in hand...

There is a proof of purchase on the 2 disc set. However you might have thrown it out. It was a loose paper that listed the contents of the dvds and a discription of the movie along with the barcode so that the store could scan it in to sell it to you. I could scan it in and show you but I am short on time. maybe later.

I'd call 'em up, first (if you can get a #), or just send-in the sleeve-art versus the whole DVD.

Ooooo that really sucks.

You might be able to get the $10 off still, talk to either Dreamworks or whoever transfered it to Blu-Ray.
