Wasn't this the angle to get Warner to go blu exclusive? "We should not buy their blu-ray releases, that way they can't ignore blu-ray!"

Depends on the release... which apparently is not part of the poll...

If the film is in a STANDARD Blu-ray case (not a digibook) with "lossless" audio, I'll bite.

If the film is in a digibook case, I'll pass either way.

If the film has a "lossy" soundtrack, it will have to depend on the film.

If the release is a TV show, I'll buy it anyway...

That's kinda the point of the thread. The OP is saying that he is not satisfied with Warner's transfer quality and lack of lossless on recent releases.

I'm buying BD's to replace my exisiting DVD collection. If it's a movie I like, I'll be getting it regardless of audio options. They're not going to just release a terrible sounding movie.

Digibook case doesn't bother me. I buy very few BD without lossless, but it depends on the movie. If Beetlejuice doesn't have a lossless track, I will pick it up anyway. Odds are it will look and sound better than the DVD it is replacing.

I'm only boycotting their titles without lossless. I like the digibook packaging, even if it's a little flimsy.

"Beetlejuice" has a Dolby TrueHD soundtrack on it. It might look like "crap", but it should sound good anyway...

I hated the digibook theory. Now, I'm actually growing on me. The 10 page booklets are pretty neat.

Think about how dumb that strategy is.

"We will get them to release better blu-rays, by not purchasing their blu-ray"

good plan...Boycotting Warner=Maginot Line...both really good plans

I'm not pre-ordering anything from WB, which for me is akin to a boycott. Waiting for reviews to assess whether or not the title will be worth my endorsement.

I don't own any digibooks, but I'm not opposed to the idea. Might be kinda neat. I just hate the BD-25 mentality and the exclusion of lossless audio when space gets short.

I'm slowing my pirchases of Warner movies until they get their quality up, but I'm boycotting Paramount until November 20. they pissed me off last year, and I vowed I would boycott them for 6 months after they started releasing Blu-ray movies again.

So then we should all rush out to buy 7 seconds so that Sony will release more crap too then right?
