Sex & The City Airbrushing - Blu-ray Forum

OK! So I just got back from my vacation and copuldn't wait until tommorrow to buy a copy of sex and the city, so I bought a copy in heathrow Airport.

So I had a flick through some of the scenes and when I saw this in the cinema i thought to myself ok they have definately airbrushed Sarah Jessica parker and Chris Noth.

And wouldnt ya know, high defination has just proved this to me and its so awful especially under their eyes they are really badly airbushed and manipulated and there is a scene where SJP arm veins are so badly airbrushed it looks like an amateur photoshop job. So disappointed that they have airbrushed her and left everyone else normal.

Anyone else noticed this yet?

This is actually probably in SJP's contract. There are other actresses that have been "digitally cleaned up" in the past. Check out any of Mila Jovovich's recent flicks, or Scarlett Johansen in "The Island" import.

It's something that folks aren't going to be able to get away with as much in the HD age.

Well, it's not like it dragged the level of realism down.

You can find pretty extreme examples of this in 'The Invasion' and 'Resident Evil: Extinction,' if I recall correctly. It wasn't seamless back when they were using Vaseline-smeared lenses, and it's not seamless now, but I wouldn't expect them to drop the idea any time soon.

i don't get all this ugly talk. sure sarah jessica parker is no sela ward, but who can compete with sela ward? very few people that's who. so sarah may not be a sela ward, but she is still good looking. i wouldn't kick her out of bed. it's not like she's penny marshall or rosie o'donnell. now that's ugly.

Im enlisting to best of the best photoshoppers to fix that photo to decrease vomiting when viewing the picture
