I know, you might be asking, "Why bother? Just turn the TV off."
Besides the fact we can buy such HD background stuff on disc, why wear out the player by playing these things for hours at a time? Imagine a Java enabled HDTV with built-in screen savers. You are having a party and need to create some atmosphere. So you activate a realistic fireplace, or simulated fish tank on your HDTV. TV's come with USB and memory stick ports these days. Would be easy to upgrade or switch to say a slide show of classic paintings. They don't need to be incredibly complex. It is a simple fireplace with simulated crackling of wood sound. Or a bubbling fish tank. Simply adjust the volume. Thoughts? |
