Default Pics of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull digipack release?

The thread title says it all.

I have been (kind of) trying to track this down, but I am finding a lot of pics that look just like the regular release, leading to some confusion.

It almost looks like it might be similar to the Natural Born Killers release that comes in a regular BD case, but has a really thick booklet with it.

Can someone with pics, please post them?

I would like to see what the front, insides, and booklet, look like...if possible.

Thanks in advance.

I wasn't even aware of a digibook release but I was able to find these pictures via a quick google search:

No problem. I see that this was a Target Exclusive.

Yes, it was and it was made in very limited numbers. The cheapest I have seen them on eBay is around $60. There was also a steelbook that was exclusive to Futureshop out of Canada. I have seen it go for $40-60 on eBay.

Well...that would be the reason I can't find it then.

That sucks...I like digibooks a lot. They are (kind of) the poor mans steel books.

Yeah, they are if they are not out of print. Try finding Easy Rider, Silverado, or Willy Wonka for less than than $40 shipped.

Damn. I wish I knew about this upon release. I would have picked it up. I've held off because I know the eventual series box set will include everything. But I really like the look of that digibook.

+1. I actually like digibook more than steelbook. Simply because it is really a book, with pages. Yeah I know, the blu-ray itself is the most important of course.

Me as well. That is one thing I hate about all of these retailer exclusives. I live in a small town that only has a Wal-Mart...and it's not even a super center.

I am completely out of luck when it comes to getting these types of releases.

You could always order the exclusives from the store's website.

Under $38/shipped from Amazon, unless it's a different version. It does have the same description as detailed on this site. In case anyone was interested:

Man, I got it for my mum back in April for $22. Got the DVD edition for myself the same month for $11. I got lucky there.

edit: Since I've held both in my hands and examined them side-by-side, I can say that they are identical, save for the blu ray banner on the top of the outer slipcase. The DVD edition has no banner. I'd recommend, if you can find the DVD edition cheap enough, just grabbing that, and sticking the blu ray discs in it. There's no difference between the actual discs that it ships with and those of the general release.

I've seen these at Target for as low as $9.99 and more recently $14.99. In fact I bought that last one at my local Target for $14.99.

They are out there but you just have to kind of stumble upon them.
