Colony Wars HD - Who would like that? - Blu-ray Forum

Now that WipEout HD is out and seems to be quite successful, why not revive another old PS1 and Psygnosis franchise?

Like the future racer genre on the next gen consoles, the space opera genre hasn't got any worthy title as of yet. Just think about what would be possible on PS3! 10 years I'm waiting for a new Colony Wars title with outstanding orchestral sound and epic story, common SCEE I know you want to!

Anybody else out there missing the space battles?

Colony Wars, now there's a title that could get a nice HD facelift. I'm all for it. If Warhawk and Wipeout were able to do it, Colony Wars should be up there too.

What about Shadow of the Beast? I mean, it was one of Pygnosis' other franchises when it was released. It was one of the games that showcased the Amiga's power. Now, with them still producing great looking games like WipEout HD, it like to see that in HD.

Gawds, this trip down memory lane is starting to bring a tear to my eye. Shadow of the Beast on my old Amiga 500, what a game. Even have the pack-in t-shirt that came with the game from years ago, a bit dry-rotted, but still around
