Is the double pack of the two movies worth getting for someone on this forum or would I be better off buying the individual release

One of my favorites in my collection. 4 discs, over 7 hours. It is well worth it for two epic, classic films. For the price, there's no question

I've been tempted to get the Ultimate Collectors Editions of both films for the original silent films that are included, but since there's such a huge price difference and I watch the more famous versions (it's hard to use the word "remakes" for these classics ) more often, I went with the 2 pack. Worth it.

I picked that up at Walmart. I don't remember the price. But it was way less money than any of the special editions.

Just the movies are included. That is all I wanted. "two birds with one stone"

Wal-Mart had the double feature for $6.96 on Black Friday last year as well.

Worth every single dime, I got it from a member here at the bargain price of 10 bucks including shipping, I suggest you check there before buying it from somewhere else.

Absolutely worth it. I purchased this a month or so ago for like $7. I separated the movies and placed them in their own 2 disc set cases and printed out the individual Release artwork. Fantastic bargain.

It is totally worth it! I wanted both of these movies on Blu-Ray and bought the Double Feature set from Amazon.ca last November for only $6.99.

The movies will get watched more than the extras.

Totally worth it. Two great movies. Since the 1970s I've watched each of these at least a dozen times. And on blu-ray they look as good as they did the day they were released, if not better.

It's literally the exact same four discs as the separate 2-disc sets I bought of each film before the WB/Paramount deal was announced, yet at a fraction of the price. It's definitely worth it!

Hi quick questions for anyone who bought this double feature - if you can help.
The discs are stacked - 2 discs on each hub?
I always swap eco cases for 'proper' amarays - does this set still come in an eco case even though the hubs are larger to hold 2 discs?
If so I might find it difficult to get a spare one of these type of cases.
Thanks.

I love the silent films (even though BH is regrettably only SD) and watch them just as often as the later versions, but if those aren't a real draw for you, then go with this double as you won't find a better deal for two epic films that look suitably spectacular on Blu. Just in time for Easter, one of the best times of year to fire up some biblical epic-osity!

I had this until it was stolen from me. I'll probably get around to picking them up individually

I didn't care much for BEN HUR, but I loved THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. It is so hysterically funny.

Yes I understand that the intent of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS was for it to be a serious epic, but the campy acting, the silly costumes, and the ridiculous dialogue was simply hilarious. I loved it. After all these years it still makes me laugh.
