Has anyone ever had a problem of being sent a opened Blu-ray box from Amazon UK? I received my copy of Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse yesterday and it had no wrapping on it at all and I noticed a yellow label on the back that said Rental or Resale. I have never had a problem before from Amazon UK or Amazon US. I emailed them last night and they are sending me a replacement copy ASAP. They even told me not to bother sending the other copy back so I assume they have had this problem before.

No blu-rays yet, but I did have that happen with a couple DVDs.
(Now sometimes they don't shrinkwrap stuff over there (usually the really cheap stuff from offbrand labels), but most times they do... I've had originals arrive in shrinkwrap with replacements not, and I've had originals arrive without shrinkwrap and replacements arrive with. The last time the DVD was unwrapped and the disc was all scratched up (no rental stickers, though), so... Anyway I have Tudors Season 2 on its way from them... (I've cut back drastically this past year (besides the dollar drop, the way they've been packing things lately has usually resulted in something getting messed up if more than one thing's been shipped in the same package (but admittedly I'm (way too) finicky about that stuff -- they used to do much better than US amazon, but now I'd say just a bit better (at least they still use cardboard to pack everything, and mostly everything arrives undamaged)), but nowadays I just tend to do without more often (which is probably a good thing)). |

OP - Are you in the US? I'm planning on getting the BBC Natural History Collection, but replacing Planet Earth with the UK version. Did you have any problems ordering you disc?
