I know this is a little late and another Iron Man thread, but before this movie was released I was not impressed with Dolby THD to date. This is the mix that changed all of that and hopefully the studios do as good of a job in the future. Sorry for not believing

Iron Man rocked my house. I had it on -10 on my Onkyo 875. Usually I have to turn it to about -3. At -10 it was very loud. It's all in the levels. This one just happened to have the levels cranked up. I still like DTS-MA though

Just goes to show that it's not the audio codec that makes the movie.....it's the source material

Nothing wrong with Dolby True Hd, just has to be turned up louder then the other codecs. And yep Iron Man sounds damn good.

best scene for audio in my opinion was the flight in the Mark II armor... it has so many little things, a great score, and the jet boots sounded amazing
