Old Movies? - Blu-ray Forum

well since blu-ray is releasing some old classics like bullit and the getway, will the french connection 1 and 2 be coming out anytime soon. i really like them especially the 1st

Great choice. The chase on a big screen in high def would be great. No word on FC BDs yet, tho.

(Mmm well, maybe Bullitt would hold you down with the granddaddy chase while you wait.)

I also hope lots of classics are given the Blu-ray treatment. Recent movies we've seen them recently

on big screens. Things like French Connection, 2001, Lawrence, or even King Kong (the original) most people have only seen it or haven't seen them in screens bigger than a 20" in decades. King Kong was 18" tall. He wasn't suppossed to be seen that way

Lawrence of Arabia has been announced as a upcoming title for Blu-ray they just have not given a specific date as of yet but I think it will most likley be end of summer early fall.
