Re-release of Kiss Of The Spider Woman??? - Blu-ray Forum

I was one of the unfortunate ones who bought Kiss Of The Spider Woman back in August when it was released. I love the movie, but what a dreadful transfer!

Now I have noticed that it has a new release date from a different company (October 21)!

My question --- does anyone know if this newer release will be any better than the one released in August?? It is also $2 cheaper.

It doesn't look like it'll be a different mastering. Even the cover is identical. Maybe City Lights have been bought by WEA? Incidentally, WEA is Warner-Electra-Atlantic.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the soundtrack album to this?

I believe this is just the regular retail release of Kiss Of The Spider Woman on Blu-ray. I believe the first release was exclusive to Amazon but they are the exact same discs in content.

Ah I was just wondering the same thing about the 2 listings on amazon.

Also it looks like the WEA release has been pushed to 11/04. I swear I think that's more than once it's been pushed back.

Anyone know if there's any differences between the 2 releases? Different packaging maybe?
