The Hobbit to be a 2 part movie? - Blu-ray Forum

I was checking movies coming out in 09 on dark horizons and noticed in late December(date not official obviously) they have "The Hobbit: Part One" listed. Anyone have any recent/official announcements on it?

That's what they're planning. There are legal troubles. Filming has not yet started but quite a few people have been cast (not all rolls are cast yet). For more info check out:
