hmmm your best bet is looking here http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/reviews.html or here https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/ and following the links to amazon for the UPC.

Thanks for the response. I am just interested in perhaps trying to have an online library. You know, something free for people to use. Something for people to keep track of their collection, if they lended out their movies etc ..
It's just initial ideas. I'm sure i'll expand on it later, but actually getting a list of all bd's released and keeping up to date, seems to be a big roadblock for me at this point. I'm wondering if I have to go straight to the source, basically each individual studio, or perhaps the BDA. |

That is already something that online sites (DVDSpot, DVD Afficianado) and client based applications like Movie Collectorz do. I had the same ideas. I wanted to create a Java web app. Blu-ray.com will also be implementing a collection feature. Their database is pretty sufficient.

Yea. Iceman confirmed it. I drafted up a bunch of requirements and recommended using a user's collection to allow them to trade or sell movies to other blu-ray.com users. Iceman simply stated that this idea is already in the works and has been slated for development for some time. I guess other priorities got in the way. So I wasted some time but actually got some good news out of them.

While I use DVD Profiler, just check the news on the front page. Blu-ray.com has added that capability and playing around with it a bit this morning, seems good to me.

I use Delicious Library which has a web publishing feature so I can post it online.
Unfortunatley it is for Max OS X only, so those of you who haven't removed the proverbial fleece from over your eyes and still think that windows is a quality product (I took this giant step of faith about six months ago after using windows for the last ten years) are out of luck, sorry. -papaholmz |
