Default HELP! 350 or 550
Newbie here, I want to jump into Blu ray and need to know which of these two players would be the best for my current needs. For starters I live in a small apartment so a couple of years ago bought a Sony Dream Theatre which was not the best but it had small speakers, DVD upconversion and a small receiver all in one. Problem now is not enough inputs, it only has an stereo input, optical jack input and HDMI out. I will make an upgrade next year with a new receiver that can decode all blu ray audio formats but in the meanwhile I can't wait any longer to start watching BD's.
My choices for a player are reduced to the new Sony's 350 or 550, here are my questions:
which one would be the best for me according to my needs as of right now.
What is the best audio option for an optical connection?
