Newbie here, I want to jump into Blu ray and need to know which of these two players would be the best for my current needs. For starters I live in a small apartment so a couple of years ago bought a Sony Dream Theatre which was not the best but it had small speakers, DVD upconversion and a small receiver all in one. Problem now is not enough inputs, it only has an stereo input, optical jack input and HDMI out. I will make an upgrade next year with a new receiver that can decode all blu ray audio formats but in the meanwhile I can't wait any longer to start watching BD's.
My choices for a player are reduced to the new Sony's 350 or 550, here are my questions: which one would be the best for me according to my needs as of right now. What is the best audio option for an optical connection? Thanks guys, any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. |
