I have been dying to have this in blu! I saw season 1 is listed but no date.so any news when it might come out on blu?

You would have thought Fox would have tested the waters with releasing the 24 movie on blu - low risk, see what sales were like and get some data on what to expect for a series release.

I think it will start releasing on Blu when season 7 starts in Jan '09. They usually release the previous season at the same time or close to it. What better time to announce it on Blu than when your introducing the world back to 24 after a 1 year break.

I would think a good starter for them would be the 2 hour movie next month. Just a single disc to produce to intro the series release and test the waters as was mentioned.

You'd figure it would be announced for the season 7 premier but we haven't heard anything. I remain optimistic.
