Default A/V power and noise filters

Are power & noise filters worth it? Can you really see a PQ difference?

Its not going to be like a notice in picture quality from like standard definition to high definition. But if you have an eagle eye like me I noticed extreme noise reduction and less artifacts. I also noticed slightly (key word slighty) better colors. And I now have no more distortion from my speakers.

Although depending on how "dirty" your power is, thats how big of a difference you'll see. Like if you live in a house you probably wont notice as much but if you live in an apartment like me you should notice a lot more.

Hope this helps

They seem to help with visible issues. For me, switching to a surge protector with noise filters eliminated a faint line moving up the screen whenever the torchiere floor lamp (halogen) was on.

Oh, i forgot to mention, ahahha. It really depends on the place you live and can vary from place to place what the differences will be...

Can anybody recommend a cost-efficient (<$150) power supply with a noise filter?

Yea its Panamax's top of the line power strip before you move into an actual shelf unit. Panamax makes great products and for that price its hard to beat.
