Default Abandoned Mike Tyson mansion in Ohio

http://retardzone.com/2008/09/23/aba...nsion-in-ohio/

I'm not sure which is worst. The decaying condition this place was left in or the way it's decorated.

No clue. But it looks like it's been abandoned since the 1990s the way it looks.

Because Tyson bought all of it.

wow....and to think there are literally thousands of homes that are abandoned like that across the country right now...how freaking sad...we have houses falling to shambles because people couldn't afford their spendings, and yet, we have homeless people dying from exposure every year...

That house reeks of gluttoney and greed...from the lameass gate and the ugly carpet, to the exoctic pet cages..what a waste...

Only in terms of being horribly decorated

I think I feel my breakfast coming back up

Where I’m from there’s a huge problem with thieves breaking into abandoned homes to steal the copper pipes & fittings, because copper is fetching a high price now. The result is usually some days later the house explodes when the natural gas build up ignites.
Gee, sure would be a shame to let all that tiger stripped carpeting to go up in flames.
I’m sure there are plenty of homeless people in Ohio that wouldn’t mind the décor, and would actually make the place look nice.

I think it should be torn down. Very disgusting. The whole place would have to be gutted and re-done. Not worth the cost/time.

Actually, it is a very cool looking house IMO. If one could afford to purchase this house, then they could also afford the cost to redecorate.

Couple things that struck me..... 10,000 sq ft is HUGE for only 5 bedrooms..... his "Great Room" is pretty freaking sweet (of course the carpet needs ripped out though)

Also.... I just got a great idea to cut off my ADT alarm system bills..... I'll just get a gate for my driveway that says "Mike Tyson" nobody will want to come and mess with my house because they'll think a crazy-mo-fo lives there!!!!

You should actually get the whole house. There'll be plenty of space for your home theatre.

You could have the first "multi-plex" home theater on your block!

And who cares if people spill on the carpet

That's funny this is being talked about. I've actually been to this house (business). Tyson wasn't there when I was but the house seemed nice when I was there. There were tigers there but learned he was ordered to get rid of them I guess the neighbors weren't too happy and there was a few pitbulls as well. This house used to be a farm and Don King has/had a training center in Champion, OH which is close to Southington. I haven't been to Champion in a long time.

The people who bought it after Tyson were caught up in some sort of scandal. I think it involved diamonds or something. Anyhow some years ago it was on the market for pretty cheap.
