ULTRAMAN Double Feature in U.S. Theaters!

A double feature of two recent Ultraman movies will begin showing in select U.S. theaters this week. The movies are:

Ultraman X: The Movie

Ultraman X: The Movie

and Ultraman Ginga S: The Movie.

Ultraman Ginga S: The Movie

The versions being shown are new English dubs. Here is the article w/ theater list from SciFi Japan.

I don't know anything about these particular iterations of Ultraman, but I've enjoyed all of the various Ultraman movies I've seen over the years. They're never too hard to follow, even having not seen the series they're based on. I hope the dubs are well done, and that we eventually get dual-language versions on Blu-ray.

My showing is tonight @ 7:00. Other theaters are playing it later in the month, and I even noticed a drive-in showing in PA this spring. So follow the link above to find a location / time that works for you!

Sadly, I've never seen Spectreman or The Space Giants. I hope Shout Factory releases them, like the Ultra and Super Sentai series they've done.
