Default The Death And Return Of Superman

The Death and Return of Superman Blu-ray

Have you ever had a movie that made you so mad that you wish movies had faces you could punch ? I just came across one that just infuriated me. The Death And Return Of Superman.

I was all excited to get a more accurate to the comic movie than the previous Doomsday movie. Boy, did DC lie....

The only thing that was more accurate to the comic was that THIS movie had the Justice League in it. There are SO many things wrong with this movie. Let's begin...

One, they went with the newer 52 Superman costume. No red trunks. Takes me out of the story.

Two, they have Doomsday coming to earth in a meteor and crashing near Atlantis. Um...that's not how the comic is. Doomsday was buried in the earth and he punched his way out.

Three, Lex Luthor sounds like a teenage boy. The voice is WAY too high....not to mention that Lex Luthor has nothing to do with the story. It's SUPPOSED to be a Lex Luthor clone body...not the real Lex Luthor. They trick you when they have Lex wearing a wig and fake beard to LOOK LIKE the clone from the comic.

Four, the only member of the Justice League that had the proper costume was flash...BARELY even then. Wonder Woman's costume looked kind of like the costume from the crappy Wonder Woman movies. Dark and muddy, when it's supposed to be extremely colourful...kind of like the costume from the old tv show. And Martian Manhunter's costume was ALL kinds of wrong.

Five, Doomsday had way too much hair.

Six, Darkseid, in no way, had anything to do with the story. This movie has him being the one that creates Doomsday AND the cyborg Superman, Hank Henshaw.

Seven, what in the world were the Teen Titans in the movie for ? They didn't have anything to do with the story. They didn't even have anything to do with the story in the movie. They were just standing there, watching tv.

Eight, the parademons didn't look anything like how they're supposed to look. Nor do the mother boxes.

The only character that they had correct was Bibbo.

Just seems like a waste of more than 20 dollars for a movie I'll never watch again.

No. Sounds like the makings of a serious rage disorder. It's just a movie.

Oh, I know it's just a movie. But when you're so familiar with the story, it just gets on my nerves at how wrong the movie of the story was. You would think that DC comics would get a DC Comics story at least a little bit right. It's like they didn't even try.

The US version says 166 minutes, UK version says 144 minutes. This is confusing

I LIKED Doomsday but so far the best one I've seen is B v S and Zack Snyder's Justice League.
