Default Your most grainy Blu-ray?

whats your most grainy blu-ray mines predator its got more grain than a granary loaf.Im used to it now though and its only because all the detail is being brought out of the film.I think it gives quite a stylish look for anyone whos played the playstation 3 game blood siren though im not sure it works so well doing it artificailly on a video game lol

Well, bad grain is just grain that exist due to the the poor condition of the master. In Predator's case, I believe it was shot on "cheap" equipment and that is the best they can do with the master.

shame its my fave film oh well it still looks far better than the dvd i guess if you want to see the extra detail thats there then youre gonna have to have the grain with it.I heard with hd-dvd's though they did something to them to reduce grain, someone might know what i mean and who took the decsion to film predator on cheap equipment talk about crimes against humanity i dont imagine star wars was filmed on good equipment seeing they thought it was just for kids saturday morning shows

300 is artificial grain. I liken it to the cheap looking fake woodgrain you get in some cars. My most grainy Blu-ray is Mrs Doubtfire

Ray Harryhosen's 20 Million Miles To Earth. It's so grainy that it looks like an Etch-a-Sketch screen.
