Default CRASH question
have a new sony vaio laptop.

as of late, sometimes i'm using multiple applications at once, and i get a blue screen, and then the system restarts itself.

obviously not good, but when it reboots, it looks for an explanation on the net and nothing is found, and i run virus/spy/phishing/adware scans and nothing turns up except for maybe a tracking cookie or two.

what could be causing this unexplainable shutdown?
