Default No Love for Burt Reynolds

A Few days ago I started a No Love for Chuck Norris thread that seems to be doing well enough to spawn a sequel. This time I will focus on another Icon of Cinema Mr. Burt Reynolds who at one time was the top box office draw for five consecutive years. Only to be top some 15 years later by Tom Hanks. But Reynolds has had his share of turds as much as his classic "Home Movies" if you will since he worked with many of the same people in his early career. But unlike Mr. Norris, Reynolds has 2 films on blu, his breakout role in Deliverance and his comeback role in Boogie Nights. But what about these other classics.

Which ones would you like to own:

1973 - White Lighting
1974 - The Longest Yard (Stick that in your trophy case edition)
1975 - Hustle
1976 - Gator
1977 - Smokey and the Bandit (sum-B*tch)
1978 - Hooper
1980 - Smokey and the Bandit II
1981 - The Cannonball Run
1981 - Sharky's Machine
1982 - Best Friends
1983 - Stroker Ace (fastest chicken in the south)
1984 - Cannonball Run II
1984 - City Heat
1985 - Stick
1986 - Heat
1987 - Malone
1996 - Striptease

I want The Man Who Loved Women on blu! Of your list, I'd take Gator, the Smokeys and the Cannonballs.

Hooper was one of my favorite films in the summer of 1978 at the Height of Burt's career. He was the leading box office actor of the 1970's. Hooper was never even released in widescreen on Standard DVD so I doubt that it will ever be released on Blu.....but would be a first day buy for me.

If I had just one to pick, it would be hands down Smokey and the Bandit. I would at least want to see that one come out first. Otherwise, Cannonball Run and Stroker Ace.

Smokey and the Bandit is another HD DVD which Universal still hasn't released onto Blu-ray disc.
