Default Advice on BD Player
This is probably an elementary question but wanted to leech some of the knowledge from all of you...

I've got a samsuing 52 lcd 6 series and a basic panasonic 5.1 surround (integrated receiver/dvd player).

I wanted to get a blu ray and thus picked up a samsung 1500 but after doing a bit of review, seems like it may not be the best choice for the price. I'm looking for something to upconvert my DVDs and something affordable since I just dropped massive dinero on the tv (thus had to compromise for an affordable basic audio system).

So, what BD do you all suggest in the <300 dollar range which upconverts?
