Thats pretty crappy of them to do.

My BestBuys seem to be ok as far as pricing goes. Then again, I have never seen any PS3s in them, so maybe they will eventually. Games seem to be priced normally though.

One of my BestBuys even imported a couple Japanese games and put them on the shelf. I am VERY thankful for that because I would have never been able to enjoy Narultimate Portable!

And on a side note, every time i read the title of this thread, I picture someone outside a BestBuy throwing little boy's coats at the doors.

I had a problem this weekend with BB price matching The Holiday. It was on sale at Fry's for $24.95 and BB was selling it for $29.95. The sales associate made a half fast attempt with the price match and I ended up leaving without the title. I'll head over to Fry's on Monday because it is very close to where I work. BB is very close to where I live.

But other than that BB mostly sells products in the stores near me at retail pricing.

Well, I'm pretty certain Best Buy and Future Shop are leaning toward the Blu-Ray format... I've never seen any pages devoted to HD-DVD titles with the exception for the mention of 'The Departed' on HD-DVD next to the DVD and Blu-Ray versions. Both Future Shop and Best Buy has featured a bunch of Blu-Ray movies in their flyers several times already.

That's ok, don't fret. I'm working on getting a job at BestBuy as we speak. I'm a very technical person, and I hate when i'm wrong.

So it'll be a different story when I get through to all the customers HAHA
I'm only trying to get a job there so that I can get all my electronics and stuff cheaper.

Jorg just so you know, Best Buy in Canada owns Futureshop! That is right, the two companies are one of the same! Bestbuy at Yonge and Dundas is one of the biggest Best Buy store in Canada. Both BestBuy and FutureShop just recently increased their PS3 prices from CAD$659.99 to CAD$699.99, if I am not mistaken it was in late January! Sales representatives do not necessarily have the knowledge of certain products, it is a shame but it is the truth!
