Zavvi and slipcovers - Blu-ray Forum

Hi there,
So we all know that ordering Blu-Rays can be kind of a gamble if you want a slipcover, but having never ordered from there before, does anyone know if Zavvi have a better track record for sending slips?

They're not really different from anyone else, apart from their customer service is a lot worse than Amazon if you get a slightly bashed corner or two. Your best bet is your nearest supermarket or HMV if you have one near.

It's luck when it comes to getting slip covers from Zavvi when the release has been around a while.

I agree about Zavvi having poor customer service, their also real slow in responding 1 day or sometimes 2 days and some of their responses are automated and not helpful, you usually need to ask again to get a human response.

Thought I would bump this thread instead of making a new one. How is Zavvi with slips these days? Anyone get one for Die Hard, fancied picking it up from the two UHDs for £30 deal.

I just did, lol. I'm not holding out much hope here but have been lucky in the past with slipcovers from Zavvi. Will report back on this matter.

Edit: Die Hard was still processing, so cancelled it and picked it up from HMV for £9.99 with the slipcover.
