Default Help building outrigger feet for Polk M-60's

I was getting out a movie last night and bumped my Polk M-60 which caused it to tip. Luckily, I caught it without issue, but noticed that due to my slighly bowed hardwood floor, my speakers are not as stable as I would like them to be.

I started looking into building a bigger base for these this morning, and I'm not sure if it's something that would be worthwhile or very easy or not. Has anyone done this before? Are there any plans available out there I could mimic with the dimensions for my speakers?

I'm not very handy so any and all help is appreciated.

Get these spike legs from Parts Express. You can adjust the level of each leg so that your speaker is perfectly stable. If your speakers do not have holes in the bottom for spikes (most do), you need to drill the holes and inssert the T-nuts by gently tapping on them with a hammer. Make sure the holes are slighly smaller than the T-nuts. You need to buy two sets (one for each speaker). I hope this is what you are looking for.

Possibly. I was thinking of creating a wider base with a piece of wood and then using spikes like these on the corners to create more stability. I think with the monitor series that each foot has two screws in it.

I've been kind of toying with the idea for awhile now.

You could always attach a wide, squarish piece of plywood to the bottom, cover it in black fabric (or whatever matches your speakers), then attache spikes to it for a wider system that also has the option to level it
