TV shows on Blu Ray

I have pretty much given up on watching dvd's except my I have no choice when some of my favorite shows like Buffy, Angel, Friends are not on Blu Ray. I read somewhere on this web sight that studio's are quicker to release titles on blu ray if fans write them and show a interest in there release. Does anyone know where to find the addresses to do this, or does Fox infact already have plans to release them on Blu Ray already?

I'm not sure about these addresses, but Buffy is my all time favorite show, and I'd kill to own the seasons on Blu Ray. I'm sure a lot of work would have to be done for this to be released on Blu considering all the special effects work was originally done in Standard Def, however it's probably possible, but I don't think FOX would do this until Blu reaches more of a mainstream status.

Yeah I think it will happen in time but not no time soon unless the show is still going like Lost the 3rd season is out and the 4th on the way I would like the first 2 season to be released. And Dexter season one is coming out in Jan I can't wait for that release

I suspect Fox will be watching the sales of another Joss Whedon series on Blu-ray, Firefly, to determine if/when to bring properties like Angel and Buffy to BD.

I have supernatural 4 preordered. I can't wait to see this show on blu. I really enjoy my Heroes 1 and 2 on blu. Great picture and sound.

I can't wait till Ghost Whisperer, Medium, and Numbers hits blu.

LOST Seasons 1 & 2 are on the very top of my wish list. They can't come soon enough!!!

a lot of shows back in the 90s were shot on cameras that were not capable of HD resolutions. that could be a hinderance.

Ditto. Buffy is my all time fav. show - so i'm dying to see this in blu-ray but who knows when that will happen. I would also buy angel as well - but buffy is my fav.

And i'd really like it if the studios would not only go forward but also back with their tv releases.

i.e - they just released the 4th season of grey's
what about releasing the first 3
and they released the last 2 of smallville - what about this first 5, etc etc
