Default Best Buy Prices

Has anybody else noticed Best Buy selling blu-rays a bit cheaper recently? I think they finally caught on that nobody wants to pay retail for blu-rays and the majority of blu-ray purchases are made to online stores.

I think they certainly have picked up on it. While online places might still have better prices, Best Buy usually has prices that are at least close.

i just sold my die hard collection to a buddys co-worker for $70, next day he called my bud and said if i have ANY more blu's i wanna sell call him first lol, he told my buddy that the collection was like $110 up there, i think the price drop at bestbuy might just be a sign of the movie companies taking notice and lowering the msrp, im a bit biased against BB though, a few bad experiences lol.

really??? my 1st official blu-ray purchase of a new release was $24.99, National Treasure 2. i got Iron Man and Hulk for $26.99. i'll agree that their prices on already released movies are getting better, but it seems the new releases are creeping up.

that and my local Best Buy still doesn't have Daredevil!!

Have to agree with you..Best Buy did have some 19.95 titles but most of the new releases was 25.00 and up.

Best Buy will not carry Daredevil blu-ray in stores. so no matter which Best Buy you go to you wont find it at all. lete me explain the sku thats shown on their website is 17109898, any sku that starts with a 1 is an automatic not sold in stores item for Best Buy. oh and Best Buy's prices on new releases are actually creeping down not up

Best Buy has good prices? Yeash for the first week of a movies release. I'm sorry, but $29.99 for SIGNS is ridiculous.

Yeah, not sure if this is a company-wide price drop yet, as I went to my local BB yesterday and was still miffed that all but a dozen or so (older, less desired) titles were at least $23. The new releases WERE cheaper, relatively speaking, but I can still get a better deal on Amazon (even after they jack prices for the B2G1 promotion). And, as some have pointed out, there were some titles (like the Disney/Pixar films) that were still north of $27.

I wouldn't say their prices are great, but I have noticed more competitive pricing on some of their newer releases.

Default Best Buy Store vs. Best Buy Internet BE CAREFUL

I went to my local Best Buy to purchase the Casino Royale SE and notice a price difference of $4 between the store (29.99) and their own website (25.99). I went online with my iPhone, browsed to the appropriate page, showed that to customer service and they promptly matched the price.

It's worth printing the price out from the website. Four bucks is four bucks.
