How is netflix's streaming quality? How long for the buffer to load?

I'm on the verge of getting this but I have reservations about it.

As long as you are a:
A. Xbox Live Gold Subscriber and
B. Netflix Subscriber

You get it.

I just wonder how well it's going to work on new releases nights when a few thousand Netflix subscribers are going to try to Stream the same movie in HD

This being said, it's a feature I woulnd't mind having on PS3 as well

I see this kind of feature as a big risk/competitor for rental business tbh.

I see this as a big risk to the local stores like hollywood video and blockbuster. I doubt it will have much impact on blu-ray, maybe a tiny amount.

I got a refurbed on off ebay for 160 bucks!!!! Plus a sqaure trade 2 year warranty for 30 bucks and i'm probably going to get at least 100 for my old xbox

60 bucks for a refurbed xbox and 2 year warranty? YELL YEAH

I'm probably happier about the 2 year warranty, god knows i'll need it.

It will effect more the rental stores than blu-ray for reason that they might want to rent a movie at the last minute and they don't have time to go to the rental store. Just turn on your 360, rent and download the movie of your choice. No need to return nor mail anything. Convienence is a great thing. (too bad I'm not a Netflix member).

Hollywood video SUCKS

They don't take care of their movies at all, hence all of them going out of buisness in my area.

I don't disagree at all. I don't really like either rental place. I've been more than happy with my netflix account. I get my movies two days after I send them back and can't wait until I can start downloading them assuming the selection is good.

I can't wait for the HD streaming, that is what i'm excited about. It still wont replace blu ray though.
