Spoilers!

If you saw doubt, what do you think happened? Did anything happen? Is it even relevant if something happened? Whose side were you on while watching?

I think my wife and I were on different sides but she just didn't want to say that she was rooting for Meryl. I could sense it though. I am more inclined to believe the Father's side of the story.

I mean you can interpret it both ways right? With Meryl being right and her false accusation by lying about calling the other parish proves true forcing his resignation. Or, the Father telling the truth, reporting it to his superiors and they promote him and tell him to resign to not show badly on the nun.

What are your thoughts?

You know, I definitely felt torn between the two. First of all, I love Meryl Streep so I want her to be right all the time, but in this case I was definitely pulling for PSH. I actually do not think that he did anything to Dennis, but he might have done something to the obnoxious blonde-headed kid. If you noticed in the ending where he announced his departure in Mass, Dennis seemed to get upset whereas the blonde-headed kid smirked at the thought. I think Father Flynn is innocent when it comes to Dennis, but others maybe not so much
