Default Bad Boys 2 VS. Point Break

According to Hot Fuzz, these two movies are the GREATEST action films ever. But out of the two, which is your favorite?

BadBoys 2 is one of my favorite action movies ever. I loved the Smith-Lawrence duo. Hope they'll do a 3rd!

Point Break is THE quintessential Keanu movie. It's like Ted on steroids with a gun.

This is like a choice between having a fingernail ripped off or being hit in the head with a 2x4 swung by Barry Bonds in 2002.

while i liked both movies, i would not consider them the best action movies ever...

i went with point break. but i can think of alot better action movies or movies with more action in them than these 2 choices.

Hah, definitely neither of these are my favorite action movies ever, but I really liked Point Break. Yeah, it's a goofy action flick, but it's Swayze-tastic!

I'd put Road House ahead of both of these for cheezy 80's action awesomeness though.

For me it's not even close. Point Break all the way. I'm astonished at how many have voted for Bad Boys 2.

I'd have to agree that Point Break is not the greatest action movie of all time (that award goes to Die Hard), but it's definitely an underrated movie and it's a more influential movie than Bad Boys 2.

The question is not "which is better?". The question is, "which one do you want to watch first?".

No, I think Point Break catapulted him to his role in Speed.

I can tell from some of the responses that not everyone has seen Hot Fuzz.

Ugh, it's not an action movie, it's not very funny, and the pacing is awful.

...yeah, I've seen it. Shaun of the Dead thus far is the only movie of theirs that I have liked.

*edit* Oh yeah... there's that sequence in there where they discuss the two movies as being the best action flicks ever. Forgot all about it.

I'll put it this way, only one inspired a live action play and that movie is Point Break.

I'll go with the fingernail removal. More psin, but a higher likelyhood of survival.

POINT BREAK has the more replay value than any other movie that sucks as much as it does.

A quote from the film sums it up pretty well:

"Young, dumb and full'a ***"

What is it with kids these days and their car chases?
When I was your age, it was all about the story. And if somebody got hurt? We didn't get to use fancy fake guts like you brats. We had to use real guts.

I agree with most in that they are not the best action movies ever but both are good films. Point break is better to me but I own both of them.

Bad boys 2 was good but IMO Point Break is overall the better movie.
