Red face ANY FRIDAY THE 13th MOVIE!!

It was bad enough when Paramount went HD-DVD, but New Line wont even release the other 3 on blu. Id love to see a box set.

I hope Paramount announces the first 8 Friday the 13th movies sometime soon. I can do without the ones from New Line, with the exception of Freddy vs. Jason. That one I'll definitely get!

I'd like to see the first 2 and I'm sure with the so-called remake of the original they should come out on Blu shortly after that. I say so-called because Jason is the killer and not Mrs. Voorhees so I guess it's really a remake of the second one, or maybe the third since Jason has his hockey mask instead of a pillow case. Man, they're really going to screw this up the way Rob Zombie screwed up Halloween. Too bad Alexandre Aja isn't directing this. He did a great job on the remake of The Hills Have Eyes. Almost scene for scene to the original.

With original poster art, please. Parts 5-8 got a crappy Photoshop facelift when released on DVD.

im really surprised the first one isnt out on blu...considering they have nightmare on elm, texas chainsaw, and halloween...its the only one missing in that group of classics, espeically with the new one coming out in feb, and i dont know if youve seen the package art, but they have a Jason "slasher collection" coming out febaswell, has jason goest to hell, jason X and freddy v jason

I forsee the remake hitting blu before any of the others, or perhaps all 12 coming out on the same date.

As for the new Friday, many people are miss understanding it and thinking its a remake of Part 1, which its not, its a remake/reboot of the franchise. Picking up from Jason's place in the movies. In the new movie, the victims goto the "old camp crystal lake" from Part 1 & 2, even find Mrs Voorhees head that Jason keeps. In the new trailer, you can even hear Mrs Voorhees narrating from Part 1. Its a revision not a start over. It will be pretty cool once you understand that layout. Its like starting at part 3 and moving forward like it should have been done. Scary, not campy. Sean S. Cunningham who directed the first one, is exec producer, and yeah, Mrs Vorhees is in this one played by Nana Visitor.

Be sure to watch them in order as when they came out....

Here is the ComCon Trailer, bad quality, but most details

Default As I expected

To cash in with the release of the Friday the 13th reboot/remake/sequel, Paramount is releasing the uncut version on blu in Feb 09. I have a copy of this on standard dvd-international release. Cant wait. Word is, 2 and 3 might be joining them!!
