Question about purchasing GH:WT for PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys,

I currently own GHIII (for PS3 of course) and would like to get GH:WT. I'm in no way interested in the mic or drums, just really want the game and guitar.

Anyone know if such a bundle exists? I looked at Futureshops website (i live in Canada) and saw the following:

It's $109.99 but the title clearly says GH:WT Guitar; no mention of the game.

This seems kind of expensive just for the guitar, no???

That is just the guitar only.
And yes, $109 is way to much for the guitar.

Just buy the GAME ONLY from Eb Games or Wal-Mart and use your GH3 guitar.

That's EXACTLY what i'm doing RIGHT now (i'm actually playing right now too) haha

The only thing you lose out on, is obviously an improved guitar but also the slider, nothing important though.

There should be a bundle with just teh Guitar and Game though. I asked at Gamestop when picking up LBP. I have to go in this direction as well, because I went with the 360 for RB1 and GH3. Switching it up this time though. FYE should have it for 99 bucks, and with the dicount card, should be about ten bucks off, so I'm not too upset.

Sucks if up there in Canada you dont get that bundle.

yes there is a pack you can buy that's just the game and guitar. I picked one up at wal mart for $99 couple days ago.

It's a bundle, game/controller, my brother bought it.

I tossed my old guitar hero controllers, this new one has been upgraded and had all the old glitches fixed, its more sensitive and better built.

The slide bar is awesome.

In Walmart, atleast one out here in Victoria, BC, You can buy a pack that's the game with 2 guitars for $129.99, both wireless. One of them is the new WT guitar and one is the old GH3 Guitar. Although I'm not sure how much that'd help considering you already have the gh3 guitar
