Default Anthony Gallo Speakers

Alright, I could swear I've seen someone with their Reference 3.1 line around here somewheres - who was it? I can't remember!

As for other speakers, does anyone here own their A'Diva or Nucleus Micro series? They might be just what I need for a small bedroom setup. Decent pricing too, and the online reviews are excellent!

I'm about to see if I can give them a listen myself at an audio store.

PS - this is all your fault, for making me look at other brands of speakers. Love the knowledge, though. I want to know what differentiates these from other satellites in the price range like the B&W M-1s, for example.

I ACCEPT MY GUILT. I SUGGEST THAT YOU PAY FOR THEM AND HAVE THEM SENT TO ME AS PUNISHMENT.

Too bad those guys at Audiophile Liquidators turned out to be crooks. I know Gallo speakers are advertised on ebay. I assume ebay is safer, particularly if you pay through Paypal.

EDIT: You should also consider Anthony Gallo subwoofer. It is one of the few subwoofers that comes in two pieces. The top part is the amplifier and the bottom part is the subwoofer. You can place the amp with the rest of your equipment and put the sub under the bed.

I'm going to have to go and check them out, honestly. But, whoever has the reference series, emerge from the shadows!!

The Gallo reference are little heavy on the bass thus not really well balance. They are definitely better than your B$W 600 series. The sown side to it as well is that the dealers always push for the amplifier

Not too fond of B&W?

And of course they're better than my 683s. They better be!

You mean B$W? To me you're just paying for the name on their lower models. Their good ones are in the 800 series.

The following companies make small and cute speakers like Anthony Gallo.

There are probably as many speaker companies as there are people in China.

I think their CM series are also very good, and are the sweet spot, but I generally agree with your point. The 700 series are due for an update soon. The 600 series are good for their price point, but are definitely the weak point of the line up. I do find the whole vinyl finish and lack of actual wood grain on the 600 series to be a slap in the face to the brand. Nevertheless, they are a great entry point for anyone who wants "hifi" speakers, just expect to get upgraditis if you have the 600 series, it's only natural.
