Default Good Second Job

I know they're have been some people asking about where to work for a second job. I'm thinking the same thing. Sucks when you're a dept manager in a grocery store and you have to look for a second job. There's a Target Warehouse postition here I'm thinking about. What do you guys think? Oh no cashier or fast food for me.

Try a temp agency, it might open a few doors for anyone looking for serious employment.

Waiting tables is a pretty easy job to get, and you can make good money ($100 + a night) in tips at nice restaurants. I did it for a while and made some nice cash for part time work.

I'd say Bartender, just so you don't have to declare most of your income to Uncle Sam

One of the jobs I used to do was called the SWAT team. We'd usually move stores or just do major work, typically overnight. Warehouse guys usually started close to store closing and unloaded trucks, so that may be an option.

Yeah i think thats the time for the Target Warehouse. But in the Savannah Job site I don't see it right now. Another grocery store is about to open up in a rich neighborhood and they're looking for people for all sorts of positions including Produce Manager which is what I am. I went ahead and sent something in.

If minimum wage isn't an issue, then I say video rental or some electronics retailer. Why not do something that's related to a hobby we all love, and hopefully it'll yield a decent discount on toys.

Get a good waiting job. Banquet server at a nice hotel pays about 20-35 an hour here in Phoenix, at nicer hotels. You're not going to get good money at a holiday inn. At the hotel I work at, we have about 13 people that use it as a 2nd job. You have to have good customer skills. Some people just can not stand other people. My servers complain when their checks are less than 1200 take home for 80 hours, and that is on the low end. They make 25-27 an hour sometimes.

Anyway, a good food and beverage job is good.

don't have a Costco around here. And I can't work at Wal-Mart because if I get caught I get fired from my job.
