Blue screened on me then I tried to reboot and it went to the Safe Mode selection screen. I chose Safe Mode and it stayed there for about 30 minutes. Tried rebooting again in Safe Mode. Same thing. Sucks. It was just for the web and downloading but I really liked that laptop. It was cheap and worked great.
I was thinking of getting the EeePC from Asus. Either that or spending an extra $200 on a Vista Laptop. Anyone have any recommendations? I won't be playing games or anything heavy duty like that. |

My laptop has been to hell, and it pretty much has stayed there. It still works, even with the screen part ripped off and had to do a "complete restore" about 17 times over the last 9 years. Too much porn
![]() Anyway, my wife wants a good laptop and I think I am going to go Dell. My HP has had 4 or 5 warranty issues where I had to send back to HP in less than 3 years. |
